Creative Landscape Courses
Inspired by the fantastic landscape surrounding the studio, these courses will introduce you to different materials, tools and processes to produce exciting and creative responses to your surroundings.
These courses are suitable for beginners and improvers, and anyone who wants to explore different ways of using colour, markmaking and media in their work.
The course will allow time for plenty of experimentation and exploration with a view to developing more sustained pieces as the course progresses. Materials provided

These extended 4 day Creative Landscape courses will give you the opportunity to explore a wider range of landscapes including river views, open countryside , beautiful woodland, all within easy access of the studio.
Sketchbooks will be used for extensive observations and experimentations outside and then ideas will be developed into sustained pieces back in the studio.
Discover how to develop ideas for abstract works from your surroundings.
In these 2 day courses , there will be a wide range of media and techniques available for you to explore as you respond to the natural and manmade environment surrounding the studio.
During the course, you will develop an understanding of composition, colour and texture, with plenty of experimentation along the way as you create your abstractions from observation.
We will explore the work of a number of artists on this course, enabling you to develop a confident understanding of how you can use abstraction within your work.
Ideal for those with some experience who want to explore different ideas through their work

Using a wide range of media, this experimental painting & drawing course will take inspiration from beautiful flowers & foliage.
Ideal for beginners or improvers, we will focus on developing approaches from observation.
